The platform’s number of funded accounts rose to 25.5 million by January 2025, representing an increase of around 2 million users year-over-year. Robinhood’s revenue has soared — total net revenues for the first quarter of 2025 climbed 50% year-over-year to $927 million, while net income more than doubled, reaching $336 million. Equity trading volumes, for example, rose significantly throughout early 2025, and options trading remains a substantial contributor to the platform’s overall performance.

Another noteworthy trend is the surge in Robinhood Gold subscriptions, which now exceed 2.6 million, up 86% year-over-year, reflecting growing interest from active investors seeking premium tools and features. The platform’s profitability has accelerated, achieving record diluted earnings per share and strong net income growth.

While past volatility and regulatory hurdles have posed challenges for Robinhood, its recent operational and financial momentum suggests the company is on a solid growth trajectory.
